I have been working on a fixed asset integration for a client, initially everything was running smoothly. I had a few errors, but nothing major. I broke the integration up into 3 chunks; the first 300 assets went fine. The next 300 – perfect. I then went to finish (about 600 more assets) and started getting errors. Cannot insert NULL into Salvage Value, Date Added, etc. – they were originally set to default.
I changed everything to a constant but now I am stuck on “Cannot insert the value NULL into column 'LASTMNTDUSERID', table '.dbo.FA00200'; column does not allow nulls. INSERT fails.” For the first 2 integrations (assets 1-600) it was putting the default of ‘eConnect’ into the Last Maintained User field. Why all of the sudden would it start throwing this error? Also, there is no place in the Fixed Asset Integration using eConnect where I can map that field. I am at a loss of what to do.
The client is on Integration Manager 10 SP 2 Hotfix (I have them updating to SP 5 within the next few days) and eConnect version 10.0.4.0. Will the update solve my problems, or is something else going on?
Thanks in advance.

after fixing book/classID I've moved passed this error, thanks
Hi Michele,
Thanks for raising this with us. I have seen this happen when using eConnect if there is no Book/Class ID setup for all assets being imported. Assets which have a Book/Class ID will import in fine, the others reject with a series of cannot insert null errors into various fields.
Can you check this and see if this resolves the problem for you.
Regards
Rob
Any answer to this one? I am having the same issue?
