Hi. I need to run a report for all accounts in the gl for YTD. IT looks like the Detail Trial Balance is the one I require, but the resulting export to Excel is not user friendly. As I want it in Excel, there are two options in /Send To/:

Microsoft Excel Document (data and layout) - this results in a file with merged cells and the account number appearing at the top of a list and not in a cell on each row

Microsoft Excel Document (data only) - this results in a file with 34 columns that is not easy to work with

Is there a way to get the information contained in the report above in a more user friendly format? I need a file with the following fields as headers.

GL Account Posting date Description Document number Amount

Have you tried the Voucher transactions report? You'll need to hide a bunch of columns and save it as a preferred view, but it exports to Excel nicely.

I don't see that report, but I was able to find what I need under "General Ledger Entries". Thanks.

Hi,

You can also create the report using financial report(Management reporter) and extract in Excel
