Different Version? How to find exact version

Hi RMS Community,

I hope everyone is fine and thanks in advance for the help.

1) I would like to know whether these are independent versions (each is separate type of product)?

- Microsoft Dynamics RMS 2.0 RTM (HQ)

- Microsoft Dynamics RMS 2.0 SP2 (HQ)

- Microsoft Dynamics RMS FP1 (HQ)

- Microsoft Dynamics RMS SP4 (HQ)

- Microsoft Dynamics RMS CU5 (HQ)

2) Which version is the latest for the RMS? Any release flow like Alpha -> Beta -> RC -> RTM -> SP?

3) How to find the exact version with the patch level from the Database or system? Please provide the sample screenshot as well.

    Hi Ahmad, you can find the version of RMS being used by going to RMS Manager/Store Operations Manager and then "help" and "about Store Operations". With RMS no longer being updated as of 2016, here are some resources that show the version number and update/hotfix versions: www.pospondering.com/.../microsoft-dynamics-rms-hotfix-list.html (2016-present)  and www.pospondering.com/.../latest-patchesfixesupdates-for.html (past to 2016).

    You can also log in to CustomerSource or PartnerSource for more detailed information on RMS and HQ.
