What is the purpose of Warranty in service quote
I am now creating a service quote
I selected the Warranty and under TRansaction type, I selected Item.
logically, if warranty is enabled , the price should not come for item, but it is coming.
please advise where to set the parameter control

The warranty is an item that you use, right?
Each item is linked to a project category, which has a link to a category and a project transaction type.

The issue is in the project quote , if warranty is selected then the unit price for the transaction type should be Zero. if warranty is disabled then the unit price should be displayed.
But the issue is, though the warranty is enabled, the system is throwing the price for the item. Also, under the line derails, it is allowing to enter the unit price for the item. I want to know where to find the relation between the warranty and transaction type in the quote

I assume that you know that especially the last two points will probably require a code modification.
What are you looking out for here in the community?
To get a sample code that you can get started with or something else?

Do you make use of the sale order / project quotation form or do you refer to a different form?
Can you possibly share a screenprint of the fields that you see and refer to?
