Hi folks,
I am running RMS v2 + Hotfix 40 and I was wondering if there is a particular hook that runs when a cashier logons to POS.
I intend to display a message to the cashier if they did not Z-out the POS register the day prior to avoid mixing yesterday's sales with today's sales.
If you have another way to prevent this, I am all ears.

Hi Alex,
There is no hook that will exactly do that, but I remember I've done something similar looooong time ago... I think I used StartPOS hook (hook type 7), it was checking if the batch was closed the night before and if not, it was blocking the POS over another hook TenderBegin, so they were not able to sell ... so, at the end, it was a combination of two hooks if I remember correctly...
Other thing you may want to do is only using the TenderHook or maybe have customized Status.html file to show-up a message for the user that the Z-read wasn't done... just like an idea...
