What steps do I take to change an employee from hourly to salaried in GP?

I want to make sure I change the HR side first so it flows to payroll, but need to know the right steps for pay codes as well as benefits...

Hi Beth,

I think you need to open the Employee Maintenance window, go to the Payroll Pay Codes window and assign the appropriate salary pay code to your employee. As far as Benefits, you need to go into HR and review the method by which the benefits are calculated. By 'Benefits', I'm also including the Misc. Benefits that are actually deductions.

Hi Beth go pay code set window and recreate it will you will have an option to select pay type>>Tools >>setup>>payroll>>paycode
