Hi,

I am trying to configure leave where if an employee takes leave on Friday and Monday then total leave to be counted should be 4 instead of 2.

Steps done:

1) Created a calendar with weekly off

2) Assigned the calender to an employee

3) Created a leave plan and assigned it to the mployee with some balance

4) Submitting the leave for that employee taking dates falling on Friday and Monday. System by default doesn't count weekly offs.

5) I want to create a leave plan where if in between leave any holiday comes then that should also be counted as leave

Regards

    Hi Gaurav,

You mean if the weekend is a non-working day in the calendar,

Take Friday and Monday off and count them as four days off?

Take Thursday and Friday or Monday and Tuesday off, then count them as two days off?

If so, there is no such function in Human Resource.

Why do you want to count vacations this way?

Why not just not set non-working days in the calendar, or not assign the calendar for the employee?

    Regards,

    QianQW

    Hi QianQW,

Yes. There are certain type of leaves where if it is taken with holidays or weekends then full tenure of leave is counted.

Your example is right that if leave is taken on Thursday and Friday then 2 days should be counted and if leave is taken on Friday and Monday then 4 days should be counted.

    Hi,

Yes, not putting the calender will solve this but then it will create another problem where employee will not know the working and non-working day. Plus employee data will be synched with FnO for resource scheduling for which calender is required to identify availability.

    Regards
