Hi Community,

I have a Vendor creation workflow for approving vendor creation, with 2 approving officer.

I want to ask how do I allow these 2 officers to delegate to another 2 users.

Hope anyone can advise.

Can I do this delegation automatically?

In the approver user setup page, there is a 'Substitute' field to specify which user will receive delegation for each approver. You need to configure this setting first. For example, the screenshots provided are from Business Central, but the process is the same in NAV:

Once that's done, you can click the Delegate button on each record after it has been sent for approval. For example, on the Requests to Approve page, you'll find the Delegate button there as well. Select the record that's been sent for approval, and then click on 'Delegate'
