Functional classification

Hello, I'm a student and have to write something like an essay about Dyamics NAV.

Is there a possibility that i can say Dynamics NAV is 100% NO warehouse management system and NO production planning and control systems?

And also there is value chain of porter. I need to classify in what places NAV has functions.

I would say that NAV takes place in all areas, excepts of Inbound and Outbound Logistics at the primary activities. At the support activities  i would say NAv takes no place in Technology Development. In the area procurement it is only something like planning the procurement but not more, or would someone say something else?

    Nicole,

    Dynamics NAV has many granules touching functional areas like: Financial Management, Sales Management, Marketing Management, Purchase and Planning Management, Project Jobs, Service Management, Warehouse Management, Manufacturing and Scheduling, Assembly Management, Light Human Resources.

    Inbound Logistics and Outbound Logistics relate to Purchase Order inbound and Sales Order Outbound, which fall under Warehouse processing. NAV, from a Support subject, is supported by the customers inhouse IT department or can be supported by their Partner. Planning and Procurement are functionality within NAV. Below is a picture of NAV/BC.
