Yes that's the correct way to do so. Once you run that by clicking ok it will delete the transactional data.

Knowing that you have created another question a few days back, this new question is not useful as you didn't provide all relevant details. I tried to respond on your previous question, but somehow the contents are not visible anymore. I sent a message to the community administrators to get the issue fixed.
Anyway, it would be good, when you create a new question, to mention that you already used this class and you had a time-out issue on a particular table.
As mentioned, create an additional class to delete the specific retail transactions. Then you can use this class probably without the timeout.
