Fixed assets - MIGRATED ASSET FLAG not editable

Hi all,

I am trying to change the status of some assets with the /Migrated Asset/ Yes flag. I noticed that while for some books (tax) the change via data management works, for the /Current/ book it does not work.

By importing the books via data management and setting /Yes/ at the ISMIGRATEDASSET column, the system tells me that it has completed the upload, but when I go to the asset to check if the change has been made, I notice that the flag is disabled.

How to change the Migrated Asset flag of an asset in d365

Is there any functionality that blocks such a change, or is there any step I skip?

Thank you all for your answers.

    Hi @Hana,

I ran a test, and verified that the serial numbers of fixed assets to whom I am trying to change the flag are not being migrated. That said, my user would still like to define them as migrated. In your opinion, is there no possible way?

    Thank you in advance!

    Hi,
You should try to check the following field mapping configuration, as Komi said, are you mapping the migrate asset  field correctly
Make sure the data in the "ISMIGRATEDASSET" column is in the expected format and has no extra spaces or characters that could cause a mismatch.
Test with sample data: Try importing a small set of sample data and setting the "ISMIGRATEDASSET" column to see if the problem persists. This helps determine whether the problem is specific to certain data entries.
You can also check this link which mentions configuration and considerations for data management import.

    Best Regards,

    Hi Antonio,

Can you confirm that the Migrated asset field is mapped during the import.
