Mapping Approval Manager from Sharepoint list to D365 case field

Posted on by 465

Hi All,

I am using Microsoft flow to create a case in D365 from Sharepoint list item.

I do have a Approval manager field in the share point and need to map with that with D365 case entity custom field.

How can I do it in the flow

Field type for Approval Manager in Sharepoint is : "Person or Group"

Field type in CRM fro Approval Manager is : LookUp(for Contact)

Regards,

Babu

Use Get items action from the SharePoint connector to get the required fields and the Approval Manager field.

In this blog post, you can see what are the data return for the Person field in SharePoint.

Based on one of the identifier fields (e.g. email address), find the matching record in D365 using the List records action of Common Data Service (current environment) connector. (create one if there is none)

And populate the Contact record from the previous step in the D365 case entity custom field.
