Need Customization into the Job card.

Hi,

We are using Dynamics Business Central (on Cloud).
In the out of the box solution, on a Job Card it is not possible to change the Sell-to/Bill-to Customer when there are already entries in the job Ledger.
I would like to develop an action to update the Sell-to Customer on the Job Card.

Can anyone provide the guided solution of this problem?

I recommend that you work together with your partner to analyse the consequences of that change before you implement it.

Changing a customer on a job that already have posted entries might break the integrity of your transactions.

Hi, I agree with Inge, this is not recommended.

But if you understand these risks and still want to develop, you can refer to the following standard code to find out the events you need.
