I'm new with a company that decided to stop their manual consolidation and consolidate their India sub (reporting in INR) within GP. The problem is FRx reporting. I can't find any of the admin screens for setting up the Fx Translation in FRx. Is it possible when the software was installed that someone clicked a button that said 'no we don't need foreign currency conversion/reports' and they didn't install? Do we need to reinstall FRx?
I can see the DLL files for Fx out in the directory. I have the right Admin password. I'm stumped. Oh, and we're on version 6.7.8069 of FRx...if that makes a difference.
Look at the company setup under Company...Company Information. There you choose currency for the particular company. You would need to have the Indian company as a second company so it could be in Rubles. It doesn't really convert it for you back to USD (you will note the FilmWorks and FilmWorks Canada demos are for 2 different currencies).
I am more familiar with SL and to actually do conversions in Microsoft Dynamics SL, you install the Financial Statement Translation module.
Maybe you don't have FRx Currency Translation module.
