management reporter trees and unit accounts

hi folks

We have 20+ companies.  We are trying to run a consolidated report in MR that makes use of unit accounts.

I have a tree that lists all the companies one by one.  When I have the default company set to the subsidiary and select that subsidiary from the tree the unit account populates onto the report with the correct value.  When I change the default company to a different subsidiary and still pick the original subsidiary off the tree the unit account does not populate with a value.

Can unit accounts be used in MR across databases / companies?

    Hello,

    Wanted to check if there is any more recent information on this. I am trying to use MR with unit accounts and currency translation. Does this area work in MR 2012?

    Hi Jake,  I'd like to add to this bug report that MR v2.1.7044.43 is returning unit account data on some reports that I'm testing, but it is translating the amounts as if they are currency accounts.  I hope this bug is resolved VERY soon.

    This issue is logged as follows:

    Bug 418578: Unit Accounts do not return data if Currency Translation is used on the column

    There unfortunately isn't a fix scheduled for it yet. A possible work-around is to create a NP column without the translation and then force the unit account value over to the translated column with a row calculation.

    playing with this further.  subsidiaries with the same functional currency as the default company are pulling.  Is there something in MR and Multicurrency and unit accounts?
