BC : howto enable SSL on local sandbox

Hello,

We have a local sandbox to make developments

We need to work on web services and c# applications in which we take in account ssl

but on local sandbox https seems not to be enabled

I installed with New-NavContainer and parameter : -usessl:$true

So I got certificate.cer and installed it by clicking on it and following default values

Perhaps this is not the right thing to do !?

- heres the error in visualstudio :

Error retrieving Items:

If any idea would be nice

Sorry, the error message in the post is not the right one - Before I did not install with usessl option and had the message of initial post.

Now with usessl I have this error message :

the -usessl option will create self signed certificate , after container creation completed , it will show you link to download the certificate .

You need to download the certificate and install it on the C# application PC  ( using mmc and put it in Trusted Root Certification Authorities )

Please note that  accessing https which is using self signed certificate , you might need to do following in your C# program :

    code-adda.com/.../

if you don't want to use self signed certificate , then you have  option to use

    - LetsEncrypt certificate (free)

    -  Certificate issued by trusted authority (need to pay)

Check below freddy post on how to use the 2 options :

    blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/.../
