Dear all,
I try to build simple query report in D365, but while selecting query in the dataset is showing error "Query NOT valid".
And I did all basic steps. But still same error

Would be nice if you can share some more details with screenshot. Plz refer below link for more on x++ query.

Make sure Synchronization with database is true and Build the model. Then you can select the query.

This is the error which i am facing as well. Help and support. it is query based report and only 1 table cust table as data source.

You need to build the query first and then try to select this query in the dataset.
Once you build the model, you will be able to add the query to the report. This works on visual studio 2019
