Hitting submodule from GL

What is the purpose of having the functionality of entering Payables/Receivables transactions directly from the GL? Doesn't it make things confusing?

    Hi Oleg,

It is not usually recommended to do Direct Posting to the GL if the Account has subsidiary.

The balance frrom the subsidiary should always be the same with the Balance of its GL Accounts.

    Hello John Ray Ptajo,

I probably did not ask the questions correctly. The real question is what is the purpose of having the ability to enter Payables Invoice or Receivable Invoices directly from the Journal Entry. Shouldn't submodule transactions be entered from the sub module and not from GL?

    Thank you,

    Oleg.
