Hi,
I am getting the below error on excel upload. Please help.
"The server returned an error: 403 Forbidden"
Can this issue be caused by the fact that your user does not have sufficient rights to execute the upload?
What role / roles do you have assigned?

Hi, Security has not been created yet. Using only system admin role.

What exact process are you using where you do upload this file? What type of environment is this? What is the source of this file?

I have a excel file and import the records in a form. In dev VM, this is working properly. But in test server, we get the error.
Are you using excel addins or DIXF entity. ? Plz share more details.

If you have the access to the server, you can check the IIS log which contains the sub status code for 403. Then you will get more clear error message.
Check support.microsoft.com/.../the-http-status-code-in-iis-7-0-iis-7-5-and-iis-8-0 for more details.
