Hi - We seem to be having some issues scheduling resources using the tasks and team tabs in PO. Are the two not linked? We seem to update the dates on one of the tabs and it doesn't update on the other one.
Anyone in the professional services space that has used this functionality we could ask some questions of?
Hi David,
Try the Task Management solution for Dynamics 365. It gives you the opportunity to assign Tasks to users (can be customized to use Teams), set due dates and priorities and break tasks down into several sub-tasks (also can be assigned to different users).
Native dashboards in Dynamics 365 provide a simple and convenient way to find, monitor, and manage tasks for the whole team.

Hi @daniel bach, I would be interested in a deep dive in these functionalities because we are interested in booking resources per hour and not possible on task but seems possible on Scheduling board but I can't make it work from task/resource generated requirement. And does the resource booking always need to happen from a task requirement or can it be done directly on Scheduling board (because it needs to happen on an exakt time e.g. between 1pm-2pm).

Hi David,
scheduling is quite different with PO. We have an integration to the URS but Updates, when
the Project Plan is changed do not apply. e.g. when you "Book" a named Resource to a task
and then you are shifting the Task.
There are a lot of use cases and each of them should be checked and added with custom
logic.
In this scenario a lot of different entities are involved include PO and default dynamics.
Sample: Just refer back that a Project Manager will be added to the Project in URS per default.
I would recommend to review the Requirements and Implement your own custom logic to
support the URS.
