eConnect Request from COM+ to Win Service - Strange Code still works

Hello,

We are using eConnect Com+ component though .Net and moving to use eConnect Win Service.

We have some code that is working fine with eConn Com+. I changed my project to reference eConn service and made sure that my eConnect Com+ is disables. ( i even restarted my computer to make sure no trace of eConn Com+ left and check that it is disabled after restart).

My understanding is, i have to refactor my code to use eConn win service. But what I found is my request to get customers information is till working without modifying any code.

Just wondering if eConn Win Service DLLs are compatible with eConnect COM+?
