Dear All,

I have setup DB logs from sales price and sales quantity but on updating the fields i get only modified by and modified date and time details in history.

I want to know the old value and new value for these two fields(sales price and sales quantity).

Thanks in advance.

OK, then I recommend you post this either in the SCM forum:  community.dynamics.com/.../dynamics-365-supply-chain-management, or in the IOM forum if you're using that: community.dynamics.com/.../dynamics-365-intelligent-order-management

, when you say "I have setup DB logs", do you mean you've setup the auditing that Wahaj Rashid provided the instructions for?  And now you are trying to analyze the audit info?  If not, then you need to follow Wahaj's instructions.  If you DO mean you've already done that and you need to analyze the data, you can do that by accessing the audit info throught the M365 Compliance Center (NOT the D365).  That's where the audit logs actually go.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your query.

Are you using Dynamics 365 for Sales? If yes, please make sure you have enabled the auditing following these steps:

    • Global Auditing:
      • Go to Advanced Settings -> System -> Auditing.
      • Click on Global Auditing Settings, and make sure:
        • Start Auditing is checked.
        • Depending upon your need Common and Sales Entities are checked:

    • Entity Auditing:
      • Then, click on Entity and FIeld Auditing option.
      • And make sure, Auditing is enabled on the entity (for example Opportunity Line or Order Line).

    • Field Auditing:
      • Finally, make sure the Sales Price and Sales Quantity fields are enabled for auditing.
      • Open the field and check the auditing option.

If you make any changes to Entity or Field configuration, do not forget to Publish it.
