We currently use GP10 and we are forced to use Citrix for our people in London and Hong Kong. While we do have a direct pipe from London/Hong Kong to our US office, using the GP client is painfully slow. Hence. we are forced to make them use Citrix. Does anybody know if GP 2010 has a thin client that would allow us to avoid Citrix?

You will need to use Citrix or Terminal Server.
Running ODBC over a WAN is not suported and as you have discovered is unusable.

Hi Michael
If you are looking at inquiries and reports, you can take a look at Business Portal, which allows you to view information using over web and it is a thin client.
But if you are looking at accessing the application for data processing, you need to have a client installed on Citrix and make it available for external users.
