Tracking interactions with links on marketing pages

Is it true that I can only track interactions with a link on a Marketing Page if I setup a redirect URL for that link? So basically I have to create redirect URLs for every single link that I want to track interactions with on a Marketing Page?

Example: When a customer clicks "link x" on a marketing page, I want to add them to a segment.

Example: When a customer clicks "link y" on a marketing page, I want to trigger a journey.

the link tracking is fully automatic, on pages, forms and emails.

just add our tracking script to any external page with all the links as you like, publish it then the links will be automatically tracked for you, so that you can, for example:

create a segment with all people (contacts) that clicked on that particular link

use that segment as the starting point of a journey, so all the people that clicked on that link on your page will get into that journey.

if you use our CRM marketing Portal then the page will automatically track clicks without the need of the tracking JS.
