D365 Edit in Excel Error

Hi All, 

Please guide me to solve the following error in D365 Financials.:

- Whenever I try to use the Edit in Excel functionality for any table, the following error appears:

 

Error Loading Metadata Details: Please check server connection, verify the current user has proper access, and try again. Error message: 'The server has rejected the client credentials.'
 
I'm trying to use this on a customer's tenant. I have SUPER permission set in my profile there.

    Are you using an account from their tenant or is this your delegated admin account?

    It is my delegated admin account

    I could not get that to work. I set up a non-licensed 365 account in their tenant and used that account to use the edit in excel option.  I still log in with my admin account into 365F but then use this other account on the edit in excel sign in.
