Hello,

I need configuration the following functionality/case in the AX system.

Case: When a product on the receipt exceeds the specified price or weight is to be determined fixed price (the threshold) while maintaining the stock records.

For Example: I have a promotion "pay $ 24 and eat as much as you want".

How Can I configurate it in AX?

Will it be catchweight or threshold discounts?

Aleksandra

RE: The minimum price or weight of the product sales and stocks per unit weight

In your example, people normally manage as follow in any of the ERP or POS solution.

    1) Create one Item - let's say Meal - Unit Price as $24

    2) Define BOM (Recipe) - based on average consumption of the ingredients.

    3) Sell that particular item on POS

    4) Let customer eat as much as they want to eat

    5) Statement would be posted at HO and inventory consumption would happen based on the defined BOM (average estimated consumption), however this would not be accurate as you are not sure what customer eat.

    6) Later on weekly or monthly basis, you need to adjust your stock by passing required adjustments.

There is no other solution available, where your consumption is not fixed. and hence you would not be able to maintain your stock on daily basis unless you pass the necessary stock adjustments in the system on daily basis.
