Good day,
I have created a Smartlist in Smartlist Builder that mimicks the Standard Account transaction Smartlist in Great Plains. The issue that I am having is that I am unable to open the Transaction Entry Zoom Window for any transactions that were created in a closed year.
When trying to open the window I am receiving the message Journal entry field is locked. I would like to know if anyone has been able to get around this.

Hi Don,
When a year is closed the Trx move into the GL history table, therefore, you really need two Go Tos, one for history and one for open. Even the out-of-the-box smartlist has history and open separated. If you hit the GoTo button you'll be greeted with this list:
See the entries for 'History'? That's what you need. The other option is to create a view that contains a UNION statement to jam the history and open tables together.
