Can use plugin for longer operations?

Hi All,

I am new to CRM and want to build a large process in CRM. The user from within model driven app, click on button, provide some input and initiate a asynchronous process.

For this can i use plugin? The process is going to take between 15 - 30 mins.

If not plugin, what other things i can use.

Will appreciate your prompt response on this.

Hi,

The limit is two minutes for an online CRM. You can use an azure function instead of a classic plugin:

The Plugin break after 2 minutes and through timeout error. You can't use it for a longer process. Maybe the Console application will be better.
