I am working on making one of our functionalities AL compatible. It concerns the sending of saved Reports in the Report Inbox Entries as attachments through E-Mail.
As usual in C/AL we worked with temporary files, this is no longer compatible with AL so I am working on switching it to InStreams and Temporary Blobs. All the functionality is contained in Standard in Codeunit 400 SMTPMail but for some reason it does not seem to work perfectly in my case. The very last Report Inbox Entry that needs to be Attached comes up empty (to clarify this means the File is created but it's incomplete).
I have sent this case to Microsoft but the answer I got is that they couldn't recreate my scenario. I am appealing to you now. Attached to my Case you will find a short Scenario, purely based on Standard, that should recreate my Issue. I would kindly ask anyone who has a few minutes to spare to test it out and let me know what results you get. If a solution should arise I would be most thankful, but I would also like to know I'm not going crazy .
