What are the solution options to have Desktop notifications from MSCRM entities when user logon to his machine ?

HI All,

We have mscrm 2015 on-premise custom activity type entity which have all the alerts and notifications ( from, to, subject, description, due date ..etc).

End user need to login to CRM application to view the alerts/notification related to him through crm application dashboard.

But we have requirement to show these notification on user logon to the machine and updated every 5 mins with out logging into any of the app. And this facility can be deployed to every user using MSI package.

Please suggest the possible options to achieve this.

Hi partner,

Dynamics 365 V9 has a new add-on to show notifications on the desktop.

But since you are using CRM2015 op, there is no OOB way to do this.

You need to create a custom workflow with C# to show notifications on the desktop when the trigger condition is met.
