GP Management Reporter Column Formatting

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hello!

I am utilizing unit accounts to report on encounters for the month.

I have my financial statement column setup to report numerical figures with x,xxx.xx formatting.

I have an override to report percentage variances on a certain column.

I guess my question breaks down to this:

Can I report x,xxx.xx values with % values for 1 specific column, as well as report x,xxx values in 1 row with the other overrides intact?

Hopefully I articulated that question well enough....

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

I have not tried this, but can you put conditional values into the format - like the Account Type = POST or UNIT then do .......

Not sure if that can be done - but I think that is where I am going to try.

    This is what I want:

                                                    MTD           Budget         Variance       Variance %

    Unit Account (no decimal)         10                 8                   2                 20%

    Normal Account (w/ decimal)    10.00            8.00              2.00             20%

    This is what I get:

                                                    MTD           Budget         Variance       Variance %

    Unit Account (no decimal)         10                 8                   2                   0

    Normal Account (w/ decimal)    10.00            8.00              2.00             20%

The format override on the top ROW for no decimal overwrites the COLUMN format override for percentage.

I know this is a difficult question to present but basically can you do multiple format overrides for the same row/column.....

    Thank you!

You want to do two calculations on each row of the report in two different columns?

See if that clears the 'mud' a bit . . .
