Hi,

We are using RMS Version 2.0.0110, all of a sudden customer account information is not updated. When we check the account information that sale transaction is not in the list. Picture attached for your reference. In purchase history the sale transaction is visible.

Can anyone help me with this issue.

Thanks & Regards,

Upen

    Hello,

I had the same situation. On customer account tab it shows transactions that are on account not the sales that paid on the spot. To get these transactions on customer account do the sale and pay on account then do a payment to whichever way is paid. This will also give you the correct statements.

    Thank you Neos,

Our issue is different, We give credit to some of our corporate customers, they don't pay at the time of the sale. They will pay us only after a month. When we receive the cheque/cash, we should be able to receive those payments in our back office register. All the transactions are getting punched in to the respective client and the receipt also shows all the transaction details.

When i try to do collect the payment receivables, those transactions are not visible in the Account Information.

    Thanks & Regards,

    Upen

    Thank you Neos,

Yes, you were right, the tender type was tampered. Now how can I really get these transactions back to the respective customer accounts for settlement and make them receivable? Please help if you have a work around. We have lost 3 days of customer account transactions.

    Thanks & Regards,

    Upen

I can't tell how to do it in bulk, if you have many transactions. However I have done this, one by one:

On POS where cash register attached, for each transaction,

1 - Recall transaction for return, first, find the one that is of interest. Recall it and change all the negative quantities to positive. This way the transaction is exactly the same only the date will be of the date that you are working now. Tender it as On Account.

2 - Recall the original transaction for void and void it after you are satisfied that the new invoice is now correct, issue a refund from the same tender. This way your total will be correct.

Thinks to note: doing it as above would not show the voided transaction on report or customer account balance. The new invoice number will not be the same as the old. If date is important change the computer's date before beginning and remember to change back when finished.

You can also do it from Back office if transaction is visible using the customer account information adjust > credit and charge, the old invoice number will be kept and the credit  and charge will be new transactions. Here you can set the date as you wish. These will be shown in customer account balance as well as in statements. To enter an explanation for these transactions use the comment field.

It is more like operator error rather then software error.
