Hello fellow D365 brain trust,
The 2020 Wave 2 was made available to our D365 Prod instance in Australia last weekend and upon resuming work on Mon 12 Oct 2020, we noticed a rather unusual behaviour whereby only date-related fields were showing up as dark\black irrespective of the browser used (ie, Chrome or Edge), app type (ie, legacy or upgraded) and environment (ie, Prod or Sandbox), as shown below:
If you look closely at the 2nd field, you will notice that the date is still showing up using dark grey characters so there is no loss of data. Also, clicking inside the date field will reveal a calendar with selectable dates. Right-clicking on the date field and inspecting its properties showed that the background property was set to "none transparent"
With a page accessing the blackened\darkened date field opened, pressing CTRL+F5 in a Chrome forced a reload of the page and the black\dark background disappeared and everything went back to normal. This is rather annoying as this issue only surfaced right after the 2020 Wave 2 was rolled out and asking users to now press CTRL+F5 on every page with a date field, is rather painful.
Has anyone else experienced this issue after the 2020 Wave 2 was rolled out and if yes, how was it resolved?
Thanks in advance.
Michael
