We have a number of calculations under Row definitions that have the NP (no print) setting so they do not appear in the main body of the report. However, when drilling down the report the NP calculations then appear. And this would be same for when the report is exported to Excel.
Is there a way to have that NP setting suppressed from the detailed reporting during drill-down / exporting to excel?

I don't think so it will happen because if you generate report with drill down it will appear. You might try using some option on sppress on report setup not on row definatnation
