Regarding Item History

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi,

Here is a story.

Our company wants to know item period history for several items.

I can simply goto Item Maintenence --> History

There, I am able to see monthly period data.

Through that method, we can know that we have sold 2 cans on Jan; 4 cans on Feb; 2 cans on Mar, so on.

Sure, I can pull data like that for few items.

Trick for this time, is that more than 100 items' data is requested.

Is there any alternate methods available?

Let me know if possible and thank you in advance!

Nothing more valuable than having a look at Ms. Victoria Site, it is definitely the ultimate reference for such requests. Furthermore, I have developed several inventory reports that would be of an added-value for you

In this essence, I would like to thank Victoria as well since her site was my ultimate reference as well for definitions, table relations and many other specific and essential details while building most of my reports. Thank You Victoria :)

Let us know if you need any further assistance,

    Hi,

Take a look at Victoria Yudin's site, she has some remarkable SQL statements available to download (or copy) that may give you what you want. Love those SQL statements, effortless because Victoria has already done it.

    Kind regards,

    Leslie

If know some SQL scripting then create a query.  The table is IV30102 and the quantity column is SMRYQTYS. You'll also need ITEMNMBR, SMRYPMTH (month) and YEAR1.
