Hi community!

From our buyer I got the following question;

I want to see quantity sold per item/per year.

My question; Can I build a query for this? or a report? Mayby its already availble?

For example:

Article Productgroupcode Quantity sold 2017 Quantity sold 2018 Quantity sold 2019

Article A Red 1000 1500 752

Article B Red 5000 6000 3691

Article C Red 3000 2500 1100

There is a sales history report where you can filter for specific data and specify the length of period it has the filter option to filter for an item. You also have sales analysis reports to run for items.

Tnx! Any suggestion how to analyse sales history within NAV? I hope there is a simpler way to do it instead of an export to Excel and work with the data. A report would make the job for our buyer much simpler.

There is existing report id 712 "Inventory - Sales Statistic" but it is not grouping based on year ( you need to filter for each year) , if you need to group by year you need to customize.

Or you can create the view in sql and call this view from excel.

If you are using BI such as Jet report , you should be able to create that report easily as they already provided dimension and measures for that.
