3rd Party Integrator Seeking Guidance

Hello All,

I'm currently looking to understand how I can start reviewing integration feasibility for an exiting 3rd party NAV and AX integration. I'm looking for the ability to chat with MS Dev staff with my Dev staff so we can gain insights as to how big a challenge (or small) it will be for the 3rd party integration to be updated for both D365 Business & Enterprise.

Your feedback for said resource is appreciated.

Hi Peter,

Thanks for reaching out on the community forum. I will provide links to some information that I think can help you determine the feasibility of taking your integration to D365 for Business. We can determine if a discussion is then needed to answer additional questions you and your team may have.

The good news is that the knowledge you have in creating new objects, extending objects and code syntax in Dynamics NAV will transfer over very well to creating an extension for D365 for Business. An important difference to look into is around events (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics-nav/developer/devenv-events-in-al).
