how to use FetchXML by excluding an attribute such as "Description" from entity Audit?

Posted on by 10

FetchXML: I am trying to extract Audit data from Dynamic CRM Cloud base, but running into ERROR "An error has occurred while processing the audit details for 'description' field: The value is too large to fit in the column data area of the buffer".

Question: how can I filter "description" since it is not an attribute of Audit entity?  Thanks!

Without knowing how you are trying to export the audit logs its difficult to answer your question.  However, there is a great tool in the MSCRMtoollkit to easily export audit logs to excel called "Audit Export Manager" mscrmtoolkit.codeplex.com. I tend to use this now when wanting to export my auditing data.
