I have a requirement to hide the BPF stage for specific type of leads, so is it possible using JavaScript,
Pls guide me if there is any option available to achieve this.

As suggest above, you should go for conditional branching instead of show/ hide using javascript.

Hope this helps.
Conditional branching is the perfect choice & meant for that purpose.
If not, May be you can have 2 different BPFs & switch them based on condition during create/update of Lead.

Unfortunately there is no supported method to hide stage using JavaScript. You can only hide BPF stage implementing conditional branching OOB, please refer below article -
