2023 wave 2 upgrade changes

We are using Dynamics Customer service hub.

My understanding is that jquery 2.1 is being turned off as part of the 2023 wave 2 upgrade.

I have done a search across our web resources and can see references to 2.2 and 3.0 but not 2.1 so I can be fairly safe that this removal is not going to effect us but i have 2 questions.

Firstly if we turn on the 2023 release wave 2 update in the sandbox does this as well as giving us the new functionality does it turn off what is being removed by the upgrade.

Secondly i have gone through the documentation for the upgrade and the only deprecation functionality that is being removed that effects the code parts of dynamics (plugins web components etc) is the jquery. Or I have I missed anything?
