Enhanced Intrastat Dictionary reference in .SET

I'm cleaning up a GP install and I don't have my dev machine today to check a new build, I'm wondering should

Enhanced Intrastat
 
always be in the SET file even if its not enabled or used. 
I was going to take it out and then noticed its got a check box in company options so guess it is intended to be always present?
