Fail over solution for Dynamics GP 2016 Multi tenant

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi,

I have recently deployed Dynamics GP 2016 multitenent installation with following infrastructure details;

1 Domain Controller (Windows server 2012 azure VM)

1 GP Server (Windows server 2012 azure VM with IIS 8.5. IT has installed Tenant services, Web Client and GP Application)

1 Database Server (MS SQL Server 2012 Standard Edition on Windows server 2012 azure VM)

Now, I need to create a fail over solution where incase of either GP server or database server failure, secondary node for each is available where a smooth fail over can be made.

We don't have shared storage available and we must use MS SQL server standard edition.

Please suggest a cost effective way within these resources.

Thanks,
