The fields are of data type currency and they are not read-only when showing on an ordinary form. Why is it not possible to bulk edit them?

The Bulk Edit option seems by design and its been this way since the older versions. The options you have is through Excel update. Other then that you can try Bulk Data Update tool in XRM Toolbox.

Hope this helps.
So are there no way possible to bulk-edit currency Fields?
Thanks for the suggestion. I know this option, but i's too complicated for most users. They only want to edit a bulk instead of edit each record
The Fields are of type Currency
Generally, when we have onchange script for any attribute - that field Cannot be edited in bulk edit mode.
Currency fields are also special platform fields, they have additional base fields to store additional values & process exchange rates.. this may be the reason probably.
Hi partner,
I recommend you to try "Excel Online".
You can make any changes as needed to the data using Excel Online, just make sure that the View you use includes the columns you need to edit.
Go to the view of the entity and select “Export to Excel” , then “Open in Excel Online”:
After making the edits, you can “Save your Changes to Dynamics 365”.
Hope it helps.
Best Regards
Leo
Hi,
Can you mention which fields are you trying to edit in bulk?
Simply put, you can keep field unlocked which you want to edit and they should be editable in bulk. But I'll need to know specific types of fields that you are trying to edit.
