Currently I am working on D365 Portals, and I want to retrieve and download the notes attachments on portal for a user. but all the time it says not found
Please suggest something what should I do ?

I just found the solution for my portal; maybe it's the same for you: It's all about the entity permissions!
"For create, two permissions must exist, a permission with the 'Create' and 'Append' privileges must be granted for the note (annotation) entity, the second permission must be assigned to the entity type the note is being attached to with the 'Append To' privilege granted."
I created a new Entity Permission called "Notes" for the "Note (annotation)" entity. Set scope to "Global" and gave it all privileges. The key is to add this to all Web Roles - I simply forgot to add this entity permission to my admin role..

I also have this problem.
Entity permission is in place for the "annotation" entity with global scope and all rights - and it's added to my web role.

In my case the issue was solved when I apply the global Entity Permissions on Notes Entity to all the portal users.

I got the solution.
Only notes with the *WEB* prefix will be published to the portal. Just add the prefix in front of the body of the note text as your are creating the Note in the CRM, and it will be published on the portal.
