Drop Shipment orders and PO

Posted on by 40

I have a client that is currently taking drop ship orders that change on a regular basis.  Currently once the order is placed, they cannot figure out how to go back and change the order and I can not find it anywhere in the documentation.  Scenario is

a.  Customer places direct shipment or drop ship order for multiple items

b.  My client puts order in, creates PO from the Drop Ship order,

c.  Clients customer makes change due to weight of cargo container or???

d.  My client needs to make a change to the order and PO to the vendor.

Any Ideas.

    Hello Steve,

I see that this post has not been updated in a while but I thought I would include some information in case it is helpful.

If the PO has not been received or invoiced then you should be able to bring it up in the Purchase Order Entry window (Transactions | Purchasing | Purchase Order Entry) and still make changes to the quantity, Unit of Measure, Site, Cost, etc.

If you still have any questions on this issue please update this post.

    Best regards,
