SL2011 wild cards no longer work

Hi,

I know there was a previous older thread on this. I just upgraded a client from 7.0 to SL2011 SP3 with a view to eventually moving to SL2015. I have done numerous of these upgrades but this the first one that the wild cards in reports such as the Trial Balance no longer work.

Any insight would be appreciated
