Different buttons in Sandbox than in Production

Posted on by 65

I have noticed that a lot of my buttons are different in my Sandbox environment than in Production. Does anyone know why this is? It is getting really hard to test all functionality in the sand box as well as use the sandbox for UAT.  Both environments are at the same version.

Any reason this is happening? It is also happening on the record's related entities, subgrids, etc.

Thanks!

Thank you! Can't believe it was so simple! This has been driving us crazy for quite some time.

Seems  Auto Save  is enabled  that's why you cannot see the “SAVE”  and "SAVE & CLOSE" button in the top ribbon of any update form. For other button see the security role ,or configuration in system settings  and also check in the ribbon workbench might be some rules apply there .

    Hi,

Try deploying the Application Ribbon from your Sandbox to Production.

    Hi KP838,

This issue is due to a difference between the customisations in the sandbox and production environments. You can copy an instance or deploy customisations to resolve this issue. Alternatively, you can fix the ribbon with the Ribbon Workbench for Dynamics 365 & Dynamics CRM.
