Cycle Count - AX 2012 R3

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Question on Cycle Counting please

When I create a cycle count to count specific products only, e.g. Product A, Product B, Product Z ..(these may have been identified as high value / risk items).. The plan gets created, however, the plan also includes other items not specified in the initial selection as these 'other items' share the same location as those specified .. Is this by design or how can I exclude those items not required to count?

I need to ask the question as the business is asking me .. I can see the logic / thought process behind counting these 'other items' that share the same location while the user is there, but your comments would be appreciated ..

Kind regards

Martin

    Cool ...

Thanks very much for your prompt reply and I hope your customisation goes well. I did think as much when I posted the question, but there's no harm in asking.

    Kind regards

    Martin
