Error When Clicked Select button in Report Parameter Form in AX 2012

Hi All,

I tried running report, when I clicked select button to select parameters I got the below error.

"Query filter cannot be specified on a query that are split into multiple queries dues to 1:n fetch mode in ax 2012 "

This is the standard report, no customization is done.

Module = General Ledger

Report = General Journal Entries that have not been posted.

Can anyone suggest me the solution?

    Hi Karthik,

    Try to delete thee usage data of this report query by hitting the Reset button.

    Hi Andre,

    Thanks for your Response,

    First time open report parameter form and then click select button Adding one parameter in report query and then click ok. After that click a select button in report parameter form I getting above mentioned error.  then how I reset the query usage data in report query form. Because the only way to go report query through select button but select button is the problem now.

    Hi Karthik,

    In this scenario, you can delete the usage data when you go to your User options form.

    File > Tools > Options. Then click usage data. Here you can try to find the report query or Reset all usage data.

    One more doubt from this question. Why this happen when add report parameter some of different field in parent data source of the report.

    can you please try refreshing your user usage data and then try.

    I suspect this is due to some data corruption

    Please verify and update us with your findings

    Hi Karthik,

    I have seen this issue once before. I can't remember all details. I thought is was related to adding a table to the query where AX would think it had to create two loops.

    This refreshing option i know only development workspace, if there any option client workspace for functional user......
