Hi,

In Engineering Change management, Just wanted to check what is the best method to copy specific items of specific product category to new product or variant.

When we are selecting an existing item of particular category and trying to add new product and modify few attributes so that product description is modified.

When we process this ECO we cant find the trace in Released products.

I am looking for a way as mentioned below :

but wanted to have a trace in ECO.
I have the same question (0)

    Hi Kevin.

    Thanks for your response.

    based on your comments:

    1. If he have multiple ECO its difficult to check which ECO it is coming from.
    2. In similar way for second one, attachments we may need to open for all ECO's which cant be that easy.
    3. Worklfow history also the same need to go to every workflow in ECO.

By selecting an item, creating a new product it is making current item number as obsolete. So I am looking for a best option.
